The First Communion program is for Children in grades 1-6 who have been baptized and need preparation to receive the Sacrament of the Eucharist.
This is a two-year program.
Children are taught to understand that great miracle of the Eucharist in the Mass, that Jesus comes to be with us, and that the bread and wine become Jesus' real body and blood, soul and divinity.
There are classes in both English and Spanish.
Before receiving their First Communion, the children will be prepared to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation, learning the importance of living a holy life. They will receive their First Reconciliation before their First Communion.
