“I recognize the Neocatechumenal Way as an itinerary of Catholic formation, valid for our society and for our times” St. John Paul II
“The Neocatechumenate is an instrument at the service of the bishops for the rediscovery of Christian initiation by baptized adults. Among these adults, the following may be identified:
1st. those who have drifted away from the Church;
2nd. those who have not been sufficiently evangelized and catechized;
3rd. those who desire to deepen and mature their faith;
4th. those who come from Christian denominations not in full communion with the Catholic Church. (Statutes of the Neocatechumenal Way)
-The catecheses of the Neocatechumenal Way are geared for young people and adults who wish to deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ in the modality of a post-baptismal catechumenate.
